MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women’s tennis team faces VCU and William and Mary this weekend in the team’s second road trip of the young season.
West Virginia (2-2) will face VCU at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Thalhimer Tennis Center in Richmond, Virginia. The Mountaineers will face William and Mary at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center in Williamsburg, Va.
West Virginia is coming off a tough road swing after it lost against Xavier and Michigan State.
Against the Musketeers and Spartans, senior Michaela Kucharova was the only Mountaineer to win in singles. So far this season, Kucharova is 3-1 in singles play.
West Virginia is 3-8 all-time against the Rams after losing last season in Morgantown, 4-3. The Mountaineers have not defeated VCU since 2021.
WVU is 2-5 all-time against William and Mary, defeating the Tribe last season in Morgantown, 4-1.
