TotalEnergies has chosen IFS Cloud as the single platform for the company’s global asset management transformation aimed at streamlining operations across its energy sectors.

IFS, a provider of enterprise cloud and industrial AI software, will support TotalEnergies’ asset operations management process using the “comprehensive” IFS.ai solution, which utilises the capabilities of the flexible and scalable IFS Cloud platform.

This collaboration will help TotalEnergies manage its exploration, production, refining and chemicals assets on a single platform.

The IFS Cloud platform leverages AI and machine learning within a single data model that integrates enterprise asset management (EAM) and service.

This integration will allow TotalEnergies to minimise downtime and maximise asset profitability by reducing management costs and extending asset lifespan.

More than 13,500 asset maintenance users globally will benefit from this strategic implementation.

IFS CEO Mark Moffat said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with one of the world’s leading oil and gas companies on a mission-critical and high-impact project to secure their asset performance for the future.

“I am very proud that TotalEnergies have put their trust in IFS’ deep oil and gas expertise and industry-focused Industrial AI innovation. TotalEnergies will have an agile and future-ready platform that integrates seamlessly with their global operations.”

This initiative is part of TotalEnergies’ EAM project, which seeks to consolidate asset management and service onto a single platform.

The project will also integrate with TotalEnergies’ future enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

The IFS Cloud platform is designed for flexibility and adaptability, addressing ERP, EAM, supply chain management and field service management needs.

It is tailored to meet customers’ specific requirements and business evolution with technology that empowers customers with real-time data, analytics and AI capabilities, enabling them to make informed strategic decisions.

“TotalEnergies selects IFS Cloud to enhance global asset management and streamline operations” was originally created and published by Offshore Technology, a GlobalData owned brand.
