MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Christian Torres earned his second win at the Rutgers Diving Invitational, placing first on the 1-meter on Friday at the Rutgers Aquatics Center in Piscataway, New Jersey.



 

Torres was one of two Mountaineer divers to compete in the 1-meter as senior Hayden Apel placed second with 258.75 points. Torres totaled 283.05 points.

 

On the women’s side, senior Sarah Krusinski and junior Abigail Sullivan represented WVU.

 

Krusinski placed eighth on the 3-meter with 279.95 points, and Sullivan placed 11th with 259.05.

 

West Virginia will wrap up the diving invite on Saturday.
