MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Student-athletes from the West Virginia University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will compete at the 2024 Toyota United States Open Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, from Dec. 4-7.



 

The meet will begin with the men’s and women’s 200-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relays at 4 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

 

Prelims will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday-Saturday. Finals are slated for 6 p.m. each night.

 

West Virginia will be represented by many Mountaineers, including Danny Berlitz, Braden Osborn, Roanoke Shirk, Justin Heimes, Erik Petruzzi, Joey Stebbins, Gabriela Martin, Maddie Smutny, Delaney Cox, Christian Simpson, Nick Lugo, Conner McBeth, Álvaro Santiago, Ian McKinney, Adam McDonald, Jake Young, Max Nielsen and Patton Graziano.

 

West Virginia most recently competed in the WVU Invitational. The men’s swimming and diving team placed second behind Navy. The women’s swimming and diving team finished fourth.
