MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield has announced the January and February lineup for its popular WVU Olympic Sports Coaches Show live from the Mountain State Brewing Company in Morgantown.
The show will move back to Tuesday evenings beginning Jan. 14 with WVU Olympic Sport coaches appearing weekly from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain State Brewing Company’s location on Monongahela Boulevard. The live, 60-minute show will again be hosted by Andrew Caridi.
“We are looking forward to the winter portion of the show after a successful slate of coaching appearances in the fall,” WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Matt Wells said. “The winter sports season is in high gear with home events throughout January and February. The weekly show will continue to keep our fans engaged and connected with our coaches before and after their events.”
The winter lineup gets started on Tuesday, Jan. 14 with gymnastics coach Jason Butts. The 14th-year head coach has led West Virginia to 10 NCAA appearances and 157 wins.
Other coaches slated to appear in the winter portion of the show’s schedule are track coach Sean Cleary, rifle coach Jon Hammond, swimming coach Brent MacDonald and wrestling coach Tim Flynn.
Fans can continue to look forward to audience interaction and entertainment each week on site, and the one-hour show will still be archived and available the following day on several listening options such as the Varsity App, the Apple Podcast Stream, and the WVUSports.com audio on demand feature located on the school’s official athletic website.
The January-February schedule of WVU Olympic coaches slated to appear in-person at the Mountain State Brewing Company is as follows:

– Tuesday, Feb. 18 – Tim Flynn, WVU Wrestling
– *Tuesday, Feb. 25 – No show due to WVU home men’s basketball and baseball
Appearances by additional WVU Olympic coaches during the spring season of competition will be announced at a later date.
