Jonathan Smith came into his new role with Michigan State football last year with a team that had just suffered an embarrassing and very public scandal. He was tasked with rebuilding a team, and quickly, with a difficult Big Ten schedule in front of them.

Smith used a combination of the transfer portal and the players available to him to try to field a competitive team, and we saw some mixed results from that process.

Any college head coach is going to want to have guys he personally recruited on the roster, and Smith will really start to be able to do that work now. With that, spots will need to open up for new players to come in, meaning we can expect to see a lot of transfers this offseason.

We will keep track of those transfers below.
