MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia interim coach Chad Scott and players Garrett Greene and Sean Martin participated in the 2024 Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl Press Conference this morning in the Toyota Stadium Media Center.
The 6-6 Mountaineers are facing 10-2 Memphis in tomorrow’s Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
It is West Virginia’s 41st bowl appearance in school history and the first-ever meeting against Memphis of the American Athletic Conference.
The Tigers are ranked 25th in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll and 23rd in the AFCA Coaches Poll.
The game will kick off at 9 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on ESPN (Mike Monaco, Kirk Morrison and Dawn Davenport).
Mountaineer Sports Network radio coverage begins at 6 p.m. with the GoMart Mountaineer Tailgate Show leading into regular network coverage with Tony Caridi, Dwight Wallace and Jed Drenning at 8 p.m. on stations throughout West Virginia, online via WVUsports.com and the Varsity Network and WVU Gameday apps.
